Otium visual style for Windows XP :windows:

Lat (otium) = Eng (free time, leisure, ease, peace, repose)


Wallpaper "Waiting room with Couch" by ~denton83 here -> [link] (I slightly modified that wallpaper to looks like on preview).

NOTES:

:halfliquid: Please install fonts from this package.

:halfliquid: To use visual style You must have uxtheme.dll file patched. If your dll is not already patched, You can do that automatic with best tool for that "UltraUXThemePatcher". It can patch all type of Windows, no matter is it XP, 2000, Vista and so on. Download that tool here --> [link]

:halfliquid: Copy Otium folder together with content in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes and after that you can chose styles under right click on desktop -> Properties -> Appearance tab.

:halfliquid: If style has more color schemes you can chose different colors in "Color scheme" combo-box.

- now it has type1 for everyday use and type2 as very plain style
- changed toolbar buttons for type1
- refined startbutton for type1

this is very very good...although i think there are some things which could be done better. Such as the min/max/close buttons and the scrollbars don't have to be so plain. What does the progress bar look like?

Thanks for comment. This is minimal style, so some elements must be so plain, but min/max/close buttons are not so simple as it looks. There is mouseover and complicated click "animation" ;) Yes progressbar can be changed. I will change it to something more interesting :)

The min/max buttons do not need to be changed...that is one of the characteristics that makes this visual style unique. Keep as is..and great job.Looks very nice..I love it. :)

Shame, i should have paid attention to the Windows logo. That is the XP logo and although its alternate text just says XP and XP is not mentioned anywhere on this page,
.... this msstyles.file is only for XP :(
